FAQ

Are your ceramic wares non-toxic?

Everything I make is non-toxic unless otherwise specified! If an item is not safe for food use it will be clearly labeled as "not food safe". As a rule of thumb, I will not sell something that is traditionally used for food (ie. Mugs, plates, bowls, etc.) if it is not food safe. The exception to that would be decorative bowls that may not be liquid or wet food safe. These types of decorative bowls will be clearly labeled with an explanation as to why they are not food safe.

Are your ceramic wares microwave/dishwasher safe?

My ceramics are all technically dishwasher and microwave safe, but I do not recommend doing either. With all handmade ceramics, you do run the risk of crazing or cracking when you expose the pottery to extreme temperature changes. Glaze is a glass and should be treated as such and if a crack or chip forms, ***do not continue to use the piece***. That being said, the piece is not going to explode if you do either, it is mostly a way to ensure longevity of the piece.

Do you do custom orders/commissions?

I don't too many customs orders, but it depends on the request! Please contact me via the "Contact Me" page and leave me a detailed description of what you have in mind and I will let you know if it is something I want to take it on or not. If I do agree to take on a commission, I require half of the agreed upon price upfront *non-refundable*.

Refunds

I will only refund an item if it arrives broken. Please contact me with a photo of the broken item within 7 days of receiving the item. I will not refund the cost of shipping, only the item.

Returns

I do not accept returns, please contact me with questions before buying if you are concerned with any aspect of the item (size, length, weight etc.). There are exceptions if you live in Europe and certain other specific circumstances. Please contact me for more information. I will refund the cost of the item if it arrives broken, please refer to the FAQ section "Refund".
