The Devil card is the fifteenth card in the Major Arcana and represents a feeling of unhappiness with your life, feeling trapped or fear. The Death card is the thirteenth card in the Major Arcana and represents endings, rebirth, and an increase in self-awareness. Together they represent the death of something old and the birth of something new, like one is shedding their skin and transcending into a new lease on life.
These tarot tiles make perfect coasters but would also look incredible mounted on the wall. The design is done using sgraffito, a method where underglaze is painted and then carved away to get clean lines and a beautiful design. These tiles are glazed with a glossy clear glaze for easy clean up. There are four rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slipping or to give a little space between the tile and the wall. The Devil tile is a little uneven, but only wobbles a small amount and won't cause your drink to spill if you were to use it as a coaster.
The tiles are approx. 4.25"x4.25". These are handmade so the size can vary slightly. They are made out of a cone 5 b-mix stoneware clay.
These are not dishwasher safe. Do not submerge in water, wipe the surface with a wet cloth.
